Dr Reddy’s announces the launch of Esomeprazole Magnesium Delayed-Release Capsules USP, 20 mg and 40 mg

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has announced that it has launched ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM DELAYED-RELEASE CAPSULES USP, 20 mg and 40 mg in the US market, following the approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). The drug is a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Astrazeneca’s NEXIUM (esomeprazole magnesium) used to treat acid reflux. The NEXIUM (esomeprazole magnesium) Delayed-Release Capsules brand and generic had the US sales of approximately $5.2 billion MAT for the most recent twelve months ending in July 2015, according to IMS Health. Dr Reddy’s ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM DELAYED-RELEASE CAPSULES USP, 20 mg and 40 mg are available in bottle count size of 30.
